War Falls is a hidden treasure in Canadian Rockies located in Carp Lake Provincial Park of Central Interior British Columbia, Canada. Situated in remote wilderness unknown to many people, this romantic secluded getaway is accessible only through a gravel forest road Carp Lake Road about 22km from the nearby McLeod Lake community. With its unique charm and unmatched diversity of outdoor activities (fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing, and swimming), War Falls is an excellent venue for wedding photography, engagement photos, portrait shots, and family group pictures. The hiking trail goes all the way to the base of the waterfalls. It’s well maintained, short and sweet (round trip 1km); it’s great for the young and old and the entire family. War Falls has three cascades: upper, middle and lower. The middle and lower cascades are accessible directly from the hiking trail. The lower cascade is the biggest of the three, and it’s so amazing that you’ve gotta dive in and have a dip. :D
