Mount Edith Cavell, located only a few km from Jasper town, is a national treasure in Canadian Rockies. This popular tourist attraction is famous for its glacier sculpted mountain peaks, floating giant icebergs in the lake, ice caves beneath majestic glaciers, and frequent avalanche activity that ignites a state of awe among spectators. Surrounded by alpine trees and wild meadows flowers, the Path of Glacier hiking trail leads through moraine rockpiles to the foothill of Mt. Edith Cavell for close-up views of its three magnificent glaciers: Angel Glacier, Cavell Glacier, and Ghost Glacier. With its short hiking distance of only one mile round trip, this glacial landscape provides a perfect outdoor venue for wedding photography, engagement photos, portrait shots, and family group pictures.
