With landscape shaped by volcanic eruptions and ice-age glaciers, Heather Meadows is a scenic valley located at the end of Mount Baker Highway 542 between two glaciated mountain peaks: Mount Shuksan (east) and Mount Baker (west). There are numerous tourist attractions, glistening lakes, meadows of wild flowers, and a variety of hiking trails in Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.

July 30, 2013: Galena Creek Falls is a roadside waterfalls right next to Mt. Baker Highway 542, just prior to entering the Picture Lake in Heather Meadows. No hiking is required to view this magnificent falls. It may be possible to hike down to the base of the falls. It's pretty big!
