Grande Prairie is a swan city. Twice a year, colonies of trumpeter swans fly by the city. One of the best spots for bird watching within the city boundary is the Bear Creek Reservoir in Muskoseepi Park. In Cree language, bear creek is called “Musko Seepi.”
