October 13, 2013: Star gazing by Angel Glacier in Mt. Edith Cavell
October 13, 2013: Mount Edith Cavell is accessible through Cavell Road during snow free months. It's important to phone the Jasper National Park Office about the trail conditions ahead of time, since snowfall can begin as early as October. The weather this October has been very amazing, mostly sunny days and free of snowfall. It's nice to do some hiking on Thanksgiving weekend in Mount Edith Cavell.
